Ordered Pairs

Let's practice using ordered pairs. You task is to help Billy Bug find the hidden grub. You will move Billy Bug across the screen by using the arrow keys. When Billy Bug arrives at the location of the food, click feed and he will begin eating. You are being timed! How long will it take you to feed Billy Bug ten times?

Wow, what a great start to division yesterday! We used counters to help us understand the what the word "divide" really means. As you worked with your partners, I was able to see how many of you were beginning to make the connection between multiplication and division. That takes us to where we will pick up today. A Shopping We Will Go!

Over the next few days, we will be going on a shopping spree! Everything you will need including directions, retail links, and checkbook registers can be found here.

Step Two
Your shopping should be complete. The agenda for today includes the following...- Accountants and group members will review their purchases and calculations forthose purchases to ensure accuracy. A calculator may be used at this time.- Each group will work through the interactive checkbook register demonstration Then, groups will print one copy of the guideline sheet to use as a reference if needed.- Groups will now enter their purchases into their checkbook register. You will print enough copies of the checkbook register recording sheet for each person in their group.- Take your time and be very careful. It is easy to make a mistake!
